Special Olympics Indoor Rowing @ 20th October 2016
We were lucky with the weather and managed to compete in the first day of the Special Olympics Indoor Rowing competition. The second day was unfortunately cancelled due to the typhoon. We took 12 very excited students to the event and nine of them received medals for their efforts.
We also entered for the first time, the relay event. This was a 250m row for each of the four rowers in the team. While each rower was rowing, another two students were holding their feet. Challenging but they did well. We had a few parents supporting which we always love to see.
Well done everyone and the next Special Olympics event is Track and Field in January 2017.
